Santa
During the Christmas period you must, of course, visit Santa Claus
He lives at the Lapp
Village, in the woods just a short walk from our cabin.
It is possible to
have a private meeting with Santa at his cottage, or by arrangement, he can
visit your cabin
There is a Christmas handicraft and gift shop, together with a
restaurant serving traditional Lappish meals and a good children's menu
Forest elves are on hand to take children for a mini snowmobile ride.
Don't forget to see the husky puppies and reindeer.
Once a week children
can take an organised husky sledge ride (book with the Lapp Village)
The Finns celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. As part of the festivities,
the village roads and paths are illuminated by "alleys" of candles- a truly
magical sight
